چکیده
In the current paper, an improvement of piecewise curvature-corrected CMOS bandgap reference (BGR) circuit is proposed. The circuit utilizes piecewise nonlinear curvature-corrected current (PNCCC) in a conventional BGR with a current control circuit, which compensates for the voltage reference at a higher temperature range. The current control circuit (CCC) is used to reduce the total current at low temperature when the PNCCC generator is inactive. The proposed circuit is realized in CMOS 0.13μm and has been verified to be able to save power consumption by 18.6% compared with a circuit without the current control circuit.

This paper presents a CMOS bandgap reference that employs a curvature correction technique for compensating the nonlinear voltage temperature dependence of a diode connected BJT. The proposed circuit cancels the first and the second order terms in the VBE(T ) expansion by using the current of an autopolarized Widlar source and a small correction current generated by a MOSFET biased in weak inve...

A curvature compensation technique for bandgap voltage references that utilizes an adaptive reference temperature is presented. This compensation technique is intended for high-resolution temperature-stable analogdigital converters. A test circuit had been designed in a 0.6 pn CMOS technology to implement this technique. The reference voltage has a simulated temperature coefficient of 2.3 ~ p m...
